Recently, sis #1 told us that mak wanted to eat gulai ikan kering. To be honest, the dish is not really my favorite but I can indulge into it.
You know, the once in the blue moon thing.
This is the tumis darat kind. Was not the tastiest Gulai Ikan Talang but enough to satiate my craving.
I wished the sambal belacan is spicier. But I am out with Thai chilies and it costs about CAN$5 for a small tray in Maxi.
I can get double the quantity at chinese store. M going to Ottawa anyway. I know he made it very clear that he will go to the chinese store if he has the time. But knowing him, he will go there for sure.
